Planetary gear drives accurately and precisely indicate and report hoist lift stop points, spindle locations, or any other position on upper or lower stage machinery. Clutches were developed specifically for stage hoisting gear to meet all safety and security requirements.
This clutch offers the following advantages:
- Internal and external centering for direct flange mounting on couplings, chains or pulleys
- Large bearings to absorb of high radial loads
- Backlash free torque via double diaphragm system
- Clamping ring provides backlash free torque to gear switch
- Form fitting shaft for clutch and gear connection
- In open condition – the clutch acts as a brake for the gear switch (preventing accidental adjustment)
- Adjust centering using safety approved non-contact switch
- Large coil for reliable switching
